This is the 3rd type of four Micca Players I've purchased and the same is true of the other two versions. So easy to use and so well... cheap! that I give them out to friends. Customer Support is incredible as well. If only others could get a clue from Micca and do half as well with Support. I'll be purchasing one of this model for myself next month. Thanks, Micca!

Before purchasing Micca Speck, I have four media players (one Western Digital and three Asus). Some of my older players have network access ability. However, such function is not very useful for me. Micca Speck, with basic media player functions, is the only one which can play back APE audio files. Although I am still testing other features of Micca Speck, the unit has worked very well so far.

Iomega 35039 1 TB ScreenPlay DX HD Media Player

Before buying this I had a MassCool product that I used to library my movies. This product blows it out of the water. Super sweet, love it! I have a 2TB external harddrive connected via usb, works great. Also you can place all your content, movies, music, photos on one computer (must share it) and it will see all of it and play it, even a play list. Worth every penny!

This thing is awsome. you can get on the internet and do anything you want to wirelessly on your TV. You can also upload movies and music to the massive hard drive. There is no lagging with the wireless internet either. Keyboard is a little small and buttons are still, but you don't want a big bulky remote laying around the living room anyway.

Western Digital WD TV HD Media Player

Western Digital WD TV HD Media Player As nothing is perfect, I do like this WB a lot. MKV file play so clear (Bee Movie 2.1GB.mkv file) 9 out 10 of the Bluray quality, unbelievable. Also on the pricing point of view, this is the best money can buy right now. Screenplay almost the same price but much less features (file type compatible). Plus, WB has 2 USB host so you can plug in virtually anything USB for it to display on your TV, that's sweet option.
Iomega just came out with a Screenplay Pro which match up features with WD TV HD, plus networking and recordable feature. Maybe someone had that one and give us a details feedback of how its functions. As for now and for the price, WD TV HD is the best of all.
